Architecture (Bachelor)
The work of the architect is at once the expression of creativity, science, engineering and social currents, and can be seen throughout our built environment. There are surely few other professions which are as comprehensive in character as that of the architect: from the creative idea through the design stage to the physical realisation in all its constructional details, until finally we see a structure which meets the needs of people and has been completed on time and in budget.
In six semesters, the BA degree programme in architecture at OTH Regensburg will equip you with the skills to carry out planning, design and construction tasks independently. In addition to engineering, design, commercial and social aspects, the contemporary inclusion of the built environment is a special study option offered by this degree proramme. With its historic old town, Regensburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006, provides an ideal study environment.
