Institute of Applied Research and Partnership with Industry

As an umbrella organisation for all research activities of OTH Regensburg the Institute of Applied Research and Partnership with Industry (IAFW) works closely together with the scientists at OTH Regensburg as well as with businesses, national and international research centres and ministries.

The focus of our commitment is on:

• Giving guidance on Bavarian, national and international funding schemes
• Providing support with applications and contract drafting
• Administrative handling of joint projects 
• Internal research controlling

At the same time the IAFW acts as a bridge between applications-based science and industrial practice. Our team cooperates in a variety of regional and cross-regional networks and actively participates in events that support knowledge and technology transfer. The IAFW works hard with its partners in business, science and administration to ensure the transfer of the very latest findings and results to enterprise, to improve the innovative power and competitiveness of commercial and industrial businesses in the long term and to strengthen the status of our region as an attractive and rewarding place to do business.
